The interactive machine learning project that Bruno has been working on with the Goldsmiths University project 4i, finally drops in the Epic marketplace. This open-source free plugin for Unreal Engine enables VR Devs and others to implement gesture interfaces in immersive experiences. We are using InteractML in our live-streaming mocap immersive experience DAZZLE. InteractML was funded by an Epic Megagrant and is entirely open source.
Alexa and Bruno are talking on a panel Welcome to the Atelier on Friday, November 19th at 7pm UK time, as part of Quills Fest, OSF’s inaugural immersive digital festival at the intersection of Live Theatre & Extended Reality.
These conversations will be live-streamed on the Quills Fest website with audiences tuning in from all around the world. They will also be archived for viewers to watch later on in case they missed it.
The Dazzle Collective was featured at the Responsible Fashion Series Antwerp as part of the large and European Projects.
The Dazzle Collective, a practice-based research project has gathered over fifty global participants and set them a co-design challenge. The participating universities and organizations are from Bangladesh, Singapore, Rwanda, Germany, and the UK, and individuals from around fifteen nationalities have contributed so far. Read More
Peut-Porter’s Bine Roth has been awarded a scholarship at the Technikmuseum in Berlin.
Peut-Porter lead on the Costuming, Staging Design, Production, Curation of DAZZLE. As part a jewellery design project with the German Museum of Technology Berlin Foundation, Pforzheim University and C. HAFNER (a metal technology company) have been inviting students to the “PF Revisited Berlin” scholarship program since 2010. Building on this great foundation, this is the 10th year anniversary of this scholarship.
